MICAP, a 501(c)(4) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, no longer has its primary purpose the influence of legislation by direct lobbying. MICAP no longer employs a lobbyist and has adopted a new mission, to broaden the awareness of public officials to the destructive consequences of alcohol, other drugs, tobacco and gambling and by offering positive solutions. To the extent MICAP's mission would be affected by policy changes, MICAP will alert and mobilize its supporters.
