2004 PUBLICATION SCHEDULE

Over the past several years, the American Alcohol and Drug Information Foundation (AADIF) has had some difficulty in pub­lishing and distributing the Journal on a timely basis. With the retirement of the previous Journal Executive, AADIF has taken steps to correct this situation.

Beginning with Volume 48, JADE will be published four times per year: in March, June, September and December. When the subscription price of $45 was established it was considered to be in payment for three issues, all of which would be published during a 12-month calendar year.

However, several years ago, when AADIF fell behind in meet­ing this publication schedule, subscribers were credited with three issues of JADE, even though publication may have come over a period of more than a year. In other words, the $45 subscription price was in payment for a single volume of three issues.

At the present time, we plan to continue costs at the same $45 for each volume of the Journal of Alcohol and Drug Educa­tion. This actually will represent no change from the policy AADIF has had in recent years.

However, this means that there will be three additional is­sues of Volume 48 published yet in 2004, in June, September and December. In 2005, Volume 49 will be published in March, June, and September and the first issue of Volume 50 will be published in December. Subscribers will be billed for renewals accordingly.
